Logging into your credit card account you can pay credit card bills, view transaction history, check account statements, sign up for paperless statements and view transaction history. It is easy to access your account online, the cardholder just needs to provide his/ her User ID and Password on the login homepage.

How to Login

Step 1– In order to log into your credit card account visit the login homepage (hpdirect.mypreferredaccount.com). Once the web page opens you will find the login section towards the left of the web page.

Step 2– Provide your User ID and Password in the blank spaces and then press “Log In”.

Forgot Password

Step 1– Cardholders who have forgotten their login password must open the login homepage of the HP Preferred and then select the “Problems with login?” link located at the bottom of the login section, as pictured below.

Step 2– Next you will be directed to the login assistance page. Enter the following details to retrieve your password:

• User ID
• Date of Birth
• Social Security Number

Forgot User ID

Step 1– To reset your User ID go to the login help page using this Link. Select the option that reads as “I don’t know my User ID”.

Step 2– Enter the following details to the reset your user id:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Date of Birth
• Social Security Number

Make Payment

Step 1– To pay your credit card bills online log into your account using this Link. Once you are directed to the account dashboard you will find the “Payments” button.

Step 2– The cardholder can set an auto debit payment method which enables the credit card company to directly collect the bill from your registered bank account without having to go through too much trouble.

 Activate Card

Step 1– In order to activate your credit card for making purchases, you must call at 888-656-4580 and then provide your card number and name on the card.
