Amtrak Credit Card provides its card owners with online login and bill payment facilities. The credit card is issued by the Bank of America. It is a rewards card with a wide range of reward points on travel and other purchases. Customers can easily redeem the points earned on the Amtrak travels, gift cards and hotel stays. Moreover, the points do not expire, so you have plenty of time to redeem your earnings.
Existing customers of the Amtrak Credit Card are allowed to operate their credit card account online. Once logged in you can check your earnings, update personal information, set account alerts and reset your password. It is very easy to operate the online portal of the credit card, scroll down and you will find a detailed set of guidelines to the login and bill payment process.
How to Login
Step 1– Customers who wish to log into their credit card account must open the homepage (bankofamerica.com) of the Amtrak. On the web page that opens look for the “Sign In” button towards the top of the screen as pictured below. (For direct access to the login page, click here Link).
Step 2– Next you will be directed to the secure sign in page. Enter your Online ID and Passcode in the blank spaces and then click on “Sign In”.
Forgot Online ID
Step 1– Cardholders who have lost their online id should go to the login homepage and then select the link that reads as “Sign-in help options” located at the bottom of the secure sign-in section. Click on the “Forgot your Online ID?” link to go ahead with the process. (For direct access to the user id reset page, click here Link).
Step 2– To retrieve your user id enter the following details:
- Your complete card number or account number
- Social Security number (SSN) or Tax Identification number (TIN)
- Passcode
Forgot Passcode
Step 1– If you have forgotten your passcode then you must select the “Forgot your Passcode?” link from the sign in help tab. (For direct access to the passcode reset page, click here Link).
Step 2– Next you will be directed to the passcode reset page, enter the following information to create a new password:
- Complete card number or account number
- Social Security number (SSN) or Tax Identification number (TIN)
- Online ID
Make Payment
Step 1– If a cardholder wishes to pay his/ her credit card bill online then they must sign into their credit card account following the steps provided above. Once logged in you will find the “Make Payment” tab on the dashboard which will lead you through the bill payment process.
Step 2– You can set up an auto debit payment system. This enables the credit card company directly collect the bill from the bank.
Activate Card
Step 1– To activate your newly received Amtrak Credit Card call at 1.800.276.9939 and then provide the requested card details.
